Are you talking about DTM power? Really he dynoed at 190? Thats what he is suppossed to have at the crank.

If you dyno your car I wouldnt expect much more then 160 or so.

BTW that translates to 222 bhp, And 247 lb-tq, at the crank roughly.

What type of Exhaust do you have? and size? anything bigger then 2.25" will be worse then stock you will loose back pressure that a NA needs but if you boost the 1uz later 2.50"+ would really help. And did you dyno with Stock or aftermarket wheels?

Yea my buddy Dax. He was there the one time you guys went to south mountain and the desert. I wasn't there when he dynoed his car but I think he told me 190 but I may be mistaken. I'm thinkin of dynoing mine before I put on bigger injectors, headers, 400 maf, bfi, and safc.

Edit: Correction I just found out from him that he dynoed at 165. Sorry bout the confusion.

That makes a lot more sense now. 165 rwhp would put him at an estimated 194 hp still 5 more then what his car was originally rated at.

And I thought you were just gonna do cosmetic stuff till the GTE swap. Glad you had a change of heart .

But I must advice that unless you are running some sort of FI, bigger injectors and maf wont do anything for you. Since the stock injectors and maf can handle more then what the 2jz can make naturally aspirated withouth major internal work.

But you will notice a difference with headers, bfi and safc. Let me know if you have any questions on doing the BFI, worth the few bucks I spent in making it.

Yea definately. I'm not really sure if I want boost an automatic. I really just want to push out a little more hp and do some suspension work. Then wait until I graduate college and the buy me a 5spd if there are any left . As far as cosmetics go i'll be getting my 97+ front bumper anytime now. Should be in maybe Thursday or Friday. I'll keep you posted. We need to have a little photshoot once the bumpers on.

Custom 2.5" Exhaust, Stock wheels and it was a Dyno Dynamics dyno just incase anyone was wondering. If you dyno'd on a DynoJet your numbers would probably show higher. Yeah and I'm not going NA, Since plan on going FI, I plan on going with 3" exhaust.
