Default Dyno'd the SC on Sat

It was suppose to be a Lexus/Toyota/Scion Meet but since we had a little rain a few people backed out. We dyno'd 7 cars mine making the most hp still stock, against X-Runner he made 180.4whp/235tq. Exhaust, K&N Drop in is all i have done to my car... 188.8whp/210tq but here is my chart.

O man. How many miles do you have on your car? I'm kinda afraid to dyno my car. Mines a 95 SC3 with 58k miles. Thats so weird though cuz my friend's 94 325is with 120k miles on it put down 190rwhp stock.

Interesting... I thought our cars put down more hp than torque stock?

In general stock V8s will almost always put down more torque than HP.

78 Trans Am 400ci = 200hp almost 380lbs trq
messed up eehhh

Yea...but it's still pretty dissapointing. Where abouts AZ are you from? We should get all the AZ SC members and go to dynocomp to do a dyno challenge. I need to get a baseline on my car before I start the major engine mods.

PS. No boosted SC's though...lol

With 250hp (claimed) I would have hoped to at least make 200rwhp... lol I think I will save myself some embaressment and never get anywhere near a dyno.

Are you on neworleansstreetracing.org?

I want to get mine on the dyno before I do the ported intake. It's a big change going from 450whp to under 200whp. As much as I hated the payment for the Cobra I sure do miss the horsepower it had.

I wasn't all to dissapointed, I wasn't expecting much in the first place. I was to get a base line so I know my starting point. Need to know which mods to start working on getting. I have 131k miles on my SC

DriftNsc3, we had one IS out some others backed out with rain and all. Forgot what he put down as far as i know he had intake and exhaust. And yeah i go out to BWW some thursdays, I may start going out a few more times.

that is kinds sad considering they claim 250 .luckily i only drove my 400 for a week then changed it to a 250tt .those v8's are useless if you want a faster car get a sc3 and put it on some boost .the v8 are known for reliability/durability not high performance

Actually they move out rather well on the highway. But with only 240-260 Hp in a 3500+lb car what would you expect?
