Okay well I originally bought an SC400 a few months ago as my daily driver/cruiser. I like the both combination of Sports/Luxury. However, I just purchased a 1994 Supra Turbo and even though that has 4-seats, the back seats are pretty much useless and I'm going to end up taking the back seats out anyway so it will be a 2-seater. Now, My main concern is I need a vehicle with a very comfy/large back and the SC400 just doesn't have that. I have to fit 3 people in the back and I want to fit them very comfortably. I was thinking of getting an LS400. I love Lexus a lot and I want to stick with it instead of getting a BMW. I was looking at the GS400 and IS300 as well but I don't quite like the lights in the back for the GS and the IS it seems more of what the younger crowd drives and I kind of want to stick with a V8 since I am not going to modify it and I want that extra torque for highway cruising. I've heard better reviews for a '93-'94 LS400 being the most reliable. What are your thoughts on what I should do?

i say sell the sc and get a ls4 since u have a supra already.

im looking for a 97 -99 LS400 to supplement my SC400 myself haha one for the VIP and the SC for the Sport ride

my neighbor wishes he had my SC300, he loves his 97LS, but he's always wanted a SC.

Seems to be the case. Every time, I get a middle aged, exec looking guy in a LS checking out my car, few times I've gotten the from them.

Probably when they got there LS, they had the wife and kid thing going on.
Deep down they wanted the SC...

98-00 LS is bigger, faster, quieter, smoother, etc. Yet.... I still love my SC I'll get an '00 LS someday on top of the SC.

Is the LS quietness quieter than the SC400? I've read a review saying that at wide open throttle you can barely hear the engine and sometimes at a stop light it feels like the car died out.

yeah the ls4 is really THAT quiet.

The LS4 is a super nice ride in the later years. I'd choose an Sc over an LS in the earlier years.
