97 Guage Cluster in a 93 SC300

I was wondering if there is some type of way to get the 97 SC400 Guage Cluster all plugged up and ready to go in a 93 SC300? A friend of mine tells me there is a mod you have to do. I have not seen the back of it yet but from what I hear it will not be a direct plug and play without having done a modification to it.

Is this correct? Has anyone done this yet?

from what i know, they are not compatable at all. ive had a 97 5-speed cluster, but it was given to OLT for some R&D. it wouldnt work with my 93.

Totally off subject, did you get another whip dude?? I spy an CLK 430 in your sig....did you add or trade something in? I would think you'd opt for that 98 SC4 instead...fill us in B....
