IMO its one of those things that "i want it because they have it over there", not because it adds any functionality. To each is own

its nice if the car came with one .but the usdm cluster looks updated enough to me .if only the needles work 100%

Personally, i love the JDM cluster. I have always liked the way it looks. It doesn't look tacky, or dated. It's clean and simple. My dad used to own an '89 vette a while back and I remember hating the digital gauges. However, the soarer's digital design is much cleaner. JDM cluster ftw.

I cant stand the digital dash. So many problems, not to mention the digital tach is horrible for anything other than normal driving...

Add me to the JDM cluster fanboy list...it looks tons more advanced than the stock analog, but yes, with a light change they can look a lot better and more updated than the stock dull yellow/tan/orange and dull red needles. Of course it's desirable because it came only on the Soarers but after reading this thread I would probably agree that they're a little overrated and overhyped but still looks cooler than the analog, no question.
