BLK13X - thanks man! I'm going to work on those headlights this weekend. I'll have my oven ready.

Chingpo05 - thanks

Catsofuk - I have them sitting in my garage with Toyo Proxies on them. I'll probably put them up for sale in the classifieds section. I wish you were closer to NorCal.

Bmsport - so far, they actually feel pretty nice. I'm very happy with them, but it's only been one week! I was one "submit" button click away from getting the Tein Basics or SS, but I found the Megans for $900 shipped, so off I went. I also saw favorable reviews on the RSX and WRX sites. I'm sure you're aware of all the goodies that these Megans come with, so for the price, I couldn't pass them up. There's been some talk about the internals being cheap, but I don't plan on tracking this car....I just needed replacements for my worn struts/springs.

I tried them at the harshest ride, and man, it rattles your teeth but it handles superb (I have some nice twisty mountain roads close by). I have them set to the softest ride right now, and it's decent....nice and easy....close to stock. I'm sure I'll find a sweet compromise this morning. I believe the spring rates are 14/10, which are comparable to the other coilover kits out there.

They can definitely go much lower than what I have set to right now (I have to roll my rear fenders before I go any lower)......this is just an estimate, but I think it can go another 2-2.5 inches easy....maybe even more.

hello i'm new to this forum but if you want your head lights to look new it's really easy to do
1) take 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper and mineral oil or someother lubricant and sand the headlights lightly you will see the film come off
2) clean all residue from surface dont use carb cleaner just a clean rag
3) take acrylic clear either in spray form or canned form doesn;t matter and lightly coat the headlight tail lights
i hope this has been helpfull

Default Thanks

SC_coupe, SC400Dude, MKorsu, Eskinol....thanks for the positive feedback....appreciate it.

ZDW: Thanks for the tip. My headlights are definitely a mess on the outside, so I'll get some 1000-grit sandpaper. Unfortunately, I have a whole bunch of condensation/moisture inside the headlight as well (it's getting worse and worse), so I have my work cut out for me this weekend.

SickSC3: yup, I know! I saw that thread you started back in May 05 (with pics of your car), so that post was actually a great help before I bought the wheels. I just ran a search on those Volks, and your threat came up....good stuff. I've seen AV3s on NSXs before, but never on an SC300/400, so your pics gave me a solid idea how they would look. That body kit you have is SWEET.

Just curious. I'll be shopping around for suspension components in the next few months. Most of what was said about them was hearsay or someone who only had just installed them.

Who's had Megan's for a while and can give a good review?

sorry for diverting this to a suspension specific convo - move if deemed necessary
