Questions about the F-Max kit
OK, so its got a smaller turbo, and the manifold isn't so good?
Other than that, is it a good kit? I can work around those issues. Or would the Toyomoto be the way to go, and how much more?
anyone have a dyno of the F-Max kit/turbo? I'm curious about the curve.
Thanks.

Can anyone give me a break down of the toyomoto kit? Whats included, specs, price, etc? I emailed them but, not reply yet. Is it something we can install ourselves (we being myself, and two friends, one with a built supra?) Thanks.

toyomoto kit and fmax kit are identical except for build quality...
and they each use a different additional injector controller
components of the respective basic kits; i'll use toyomoto as an example:
T04E-60 turbo, .58 A/R exhaust side P-trim wheel (3" inlet)
intercooler piping
sidemount intercooler, stock SupraTT ic
3mm metal headgasket, iDeal brand i believe
HKS racing blow off valve
HKS GT Wastegate
Exhaust manifold with external wastegate piping and T04E turbo bolt-pattern
3" downpipe with inlet for wastegate vent
Additional Injector Controller with 2 440cc injectors and injector bosses in the intercooler piping right before the throttle body
I believe thats it
the fmax kit is identical except it comes with a bigger front mount intercooler, and a different brand additional injector controller... and its $1000 cheaper; but you get what you pay for
Yeah you and a friend can install this kit in a weekend... hardest part is getting the head off to install the new headgasket... you have to remove the entire intake setup since it goes over the engine, remove all the ignition stuff, and pull the exhaust stuff out too... my friend told me it takes 12 hours to pull and reinstall a SupraTT head; but i'm pretty sure it doesn't take THAT long with two people
you STILL need a SupraTT fuelpump and a cat-back exhaust to go with this kit; you may need an intake filter too, i'm not positive
