How did you hook it up to get those readings? Does it hook up to your OBD2 connection or does it use GPS to determine your speed and all that junk...

That thing is freakin nice... but for 2k... shoot.

AVIC-D2 has those same features. It uses its internal inertial guidance system in conjunction with a speed sensor wire you hook up. It has a built in compass and gyroscope basically. Used for GPS dead reckoning (when you dont have a satellite signal, but still track where the car goes) and also displays to the vehicle dynamics.

It is pricey at MSRP, but I get a decent "family" discount for being a loyal customer for over 12 years. It was too good to pass on it. And the onboard HDD is sweet. No need to carry a bunch of discs in the car. I just record them onto the HDD and leave the discs at home.
