There's a tutorial here regarding "buffing headlights" it'll show you how to open it. It took me about an hour including baking the headlights.

Throw some cheap skin covers over those aweful torn leather seats, install a stiched steering wheel cover off ebay for $25, vacume and scrub the floor mats and carpets til your hands are raw, wax and buff the exterior several times till all the fine scratches and scuffs are off the paint and it shines like new..Lastly remove the headlights and toss them in the oven then remove the clouded lenses and clean the hell out of them with a good plexy glass cleaner...Re-glue the lenses back in place with hightemp silicon....wipe a little armor all on the tires and dash and you are good to go..

Then and only then will be a Leuxs Jedi Master... The force runs strong with the 1992 gold Sc400's....Search your feelings you know this to be true....

Yes that is a gold 1992 SC400 and this is another pic of the restored inside interior all courtesy of EBay...

Unfortunately I am now into this ride for $19,000 and not $500....

did all that (see pg 2 pics). I also reinforced the door handle mounting points with metal because the plastic was cracked. I'm debating weather to keep the stock seats and get new covers for ~$600 or get a recaro style racing bucket for ~$400 a pair. I also bought these but wont be able to start the project until late next year.
