Ok, heres what i am thinking. Has anybody ever watched the show pinks? Well I watch it as much as possible. Its a show where particpants race for the pink slips of thier cars. These guys bring thier mustangs and stuff with only 510 600 hp. I have seen cars on this site with way more than that. I think that someone with one of the faster cars should sign up for the show. Represent the Sc300/400 comunity. Plus they will probably win a car. If I had a turbo and things i would but sadly i dont. Its just an idea but i think it would be effing sweet.

i dont think too many people on here are stupid enough to partake in that show. Pinks is really entertaining, but the risk of losing your car is not fun at all.

I've been to the shows live twice, and new corvettes are like honda civics in that level of competition.

sadly, i dont think that anyone with a car fast enough would risk the amount of money they had to put into it

naw thats jus plain stupid to take a car you spent thousands of dollars and time on to have it fast, beautiful smoked by some big block chevy on a whole bunch of spray and slicks . i rather keep my baby.

As for cars faster than the ones that have been on the show.....the show asks that you bring a car that will run the quarter mile in a certain general time frame, say 12 sec range for example. So, its not supposed to be about who brings that fastest car, but trying to get the fairest race...hence the reason for the negotiation of lengths, nitrous use, etc.

I hate pinks! Its a bunch of babies whining about crap. Give me lengths blah blah. Most of the time the cars arent comparable and they wont race head to head. If i want to watch people argue ill watch OCC or Boyds guys lol
