after market seats?

Yeah those are recaro SRDs. I'm using the Bride rails. I'm not so sure on the whole getting cheap quality racing seats, you are going to lose some comfort. Quality of those Type R pep boys seats aren't too great. They are cheap for a reason. Even if you rewrap them, tuners will be able to tell what kind of seats they are.

I just got mint condition Supra seats installed. The seats are a lot lighter than the 65lb SC seats... they're probably about 20-30 lbs at best. Wiring was pretty easy although you'll lose some functionability compared to the SC seats. Also the seat sits a lot lower than the SC seats. So if you're having a hard time looking over the steering wheel with the SC seats then the Supra seats isn't for you.

although i have to agree with the users before me
you're gonna have to change everything else on the interior if you change the seats... it looks out of place with tan leather

I probably gained an extra 3-4 inches of headroom actually, 1 because the seat cushion is a lot lower and 2 because it leaned further back than the stock sc seats. Hope that helps.
