I have a sc3 5 speed and just replaced the clutch in january. I haven't really done anything else to the car. Nothing has broken beside the passanger door clip. Regular maintence and that's it. 160+ miles running as strong as ever

Damn... talk about a thread revival
I've owned my turbo Soarer for just under 2 years (with 55xxx kms) and in that time (besides regular oil and filter changed) I...
* Replaced the VSV as mine seized... $40
* Had the 100k service done (both engine belts, spark plugs, new water pump and all fluids and filters and a few other little things)... $1200
* Replaced the plastic connector in the door for the exterior door handle... $10
* Recently replaced the bearing in the idler pulley as it was getting noisy... $30
Currently sitting on 116xxx kms and still whisper quite with no unusual noises or complaints.

I have a 97 sc3 with 232xxx miles, the car runs great. I purchased in July of 06, no problems at all (knock on wood). Suspension was great before i replaced the stock suspension with Eibach/kyb.

Got my 93 SC3 Feb of 06 w/120xxx miles on it. Currently has 180xxx miles on it. Yes, that is A LOT oif driving in a year and 1/2. Other than gerneral maintenance, I've had to replace the water pump, driver's seatbelt, and now the radiator. Well technically the shop replaced the water pump. next on the agenda are sending the cluster in for upgrading(finally had 2 needles go out, guess I was lucky for a while), replacing the steering rack bushings and upgrading to the supra LCA's. The timing belt is looming in the near future again. It was originally replaced by the 2nd owner @ 100k.
