Hi, I just recently purchased a 92 SC400 and so far im totally loving it. A problem that I have is that both mirrors on both sides dont move at all. I also noticed that both door panels are a slightly darker color than the rest of the interior. They look like the color taken from an SC300. So what Im asking is, would SC300 panels work on the SC400. Is it possible that this could be the reason for the mirrors not working?

Ive checked fuses on them and they are fine. Im not sure if this has anything to do with it, but the stereo and trunk amp are diconnected at the moment because they will be replaced soon.

Door panels are the same between all models and years. Problem prolly lies in the electricals somewhere.

As far as I know they should fit just make sure its at least the same year. What year is your SC?

all interior pieces 92-00 can be swapped to any SC300/SC400...I doubt that's the problem for your mirrors not working too...

Mine is a 1992 and I dont know what year the door panels are. Its how a purchased the car, but I will look into the electrics of it and see if I can find a broken wire somewhere.

The door panels are interchangeable as ACleanSC4 said. As far as your mirros, your mirror ECU is probably dead. Its one of those common problems on the early SCs.

you shouldn't have a problem i have a 92 and god knows what year door panels i bought but they work just fine.

Mirror ECU is around the driver's footwell area. You can get a used one by posting in the classifieds or PMing R & J Dist or aliga.
