Default Help Key wont go in!

Before, the key slides in the ignition w/o problems. Now, it wont. I disconnected the baterry a few times and it still wouldnt go in. It only goes half way. There's nothing stuck inside the ignition key hole. I dont know if it has something to do with it having an aftermarket alarm, or that I am stripping the interior. Help!!!

Put some some graphite lube in your key cylinders.

Any hardware store (like an OSH or ACE hardware) will have it. Also, any locksmith will have it.

It is a small tube of dry graphite powder. You squeeze it into the cylinders to lube the teeth.
