I've got wind noise from old rubber seals on the roof. Dealer says must replace whole, roof. Rubber seals not available separately. It doesn't leak water, just wind. Any ideas?

i think i may have the same problem too, u mean it has like little creaking sounds and if ur outside of ur car and press down on ur moonroof/sunroof glass, u can see that the rubber seals give way and it creaks because of that?

so actual wind is getting in your car? i can only hear it when the shade is pulled back...
depending on the shape/structure of the rubber seals; you could possibly get some door seal rubber tubing from the local autoparts store and try fixing it yourself... it'd be worth a shot instead of having the dealer make you take out a mortgage to pay for it

Why does the dealer ALWAYS say replace. My first coupe did that and it also leaked water. I took it back to the dealer (I bought it used 1992 SC400 in 1997 with 40000 mi) and since it had a warrenty they 'shimmed' it and that fixed the leaking and noise.
Ask about this shim thing.
