What is YOUR SC's Value at? What you think AND what it is really woth.
I just checked my KBB value and see that it hasn't dropped in the last year.. Kinda thought it would.
What do you think your car is valued at?
Mine was $12,800.00 for a 97 SC300 in excellent condition with 120,000miles. I think I could get $12,000 if I tried hard.
It's funny, back in the 90s when I had a car that was 10 years old it was REALLY old, but it doesn't feel like my car will be 10 years old in 07....
Why do American cars seem so old after 10 years?

Wouldn't it be nice to have a sell it now button on the KBB or NADA sites.
If they would actually pay you what they say they are worth.
KBB says my 1998 SC400 with 83k is worth $17020
NADA says $17475 for high
I might be able to get $16000 for mine maybe.

I think its also regional too.
I paid $12,500 US for my '95 back in February and my car is in excellent condition with 95,000 miles on it. I am sure I could get at least that now without my wheels on it. SC value here in western Canada seams to be fairly high. SC300's are even higher becuase they are more rare.

Mine booked at $10,500 ish which is the same as I paid for it. 96 w/96K miles, black on black 5 speed and really clean. One owner car before me.
I have about $15K in parts waiting to go on it. After that It'll probably be worth about $5K.

if i were selling mine, i would ask for $8k as it sits... well, after a nice detail of course. now, i dont know weather or not i could get that, or how long it would take to sell at that price, but thats what i would want.

The book value is at 9000, I put it up for sale at 7900 and got marginal interest with a few lower *****, with all the maintence I did to the car, I will keep it as a thrid car actually fourth, if I can't get a decent return on it.

1993 Lexus SC400 - 145,000 miles
KBB Private Party in Excellent Condition = $7,275
KBB Private Party in Good Condition = $6,625
I purchased this car in July 2006 for $5,500 OTD. If I wanted to, I could probably sell this car for $6,500 and actually make some profit.
