Question Desperate search for Black Chrome Emblems

I need to find a place where I can buy black chrome emblems for my SC400. My car is getting repainted soon and there is no way I am putting my crappy well worn gold emblems. Does anyone know where I can buy a set of black chrome emblems for my car? This question has been asked before but always seems to go unanswered. Any help would be great.

u can get it on AAArims.com but it's $200. i posted same questions before because my car is also getting repainted.
but i think i'm just going to paint the emblems my self.

the faded gold look does not work me with the paint job.

if anyone knows anywhere else please post.

Guys,

Try contacting Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota. He should be able to get you the black pearl emblems if they exist from Lexus.

Good luck.

I put the black pearl kit on my SC300(black also). Must admit it does look nice.

The kit would run $175.00

Where did you buy them from? $175 sounds pretty darn good since my dealer quoted me about $300. They said Lexus set actually makes black chrome emblems for the SC400 but they could get them from some aftermarket place. They wouldn't tell me the company's name. Probably because if I knew the company I could just order directly and pay half price.

The reason I didn't find a place to plate them myself was because I have heard that the precious metal used to make the black chrome look on the emblems doesn't like to adhere to the emblems when they are plated on. He says he tried a couple of times to do Black Chrome plating on emblems but every time it comes off farely easily.

Thanx for all the responses

Ryan,

I sell Lexus/L-Tuned/Toyota/TRD/TTE, etc factory and performance parts, If you need something I may be able to help.

I've done a lot with the GS300/400 crowd.
