Default "Would you buy this SC300" - CL deal

Was browsing craigslist (CL - not clublexus ) like I always do, and have always liked SC3/4s. I am sort of in the market for one as a DD. Here is one that caught my eye and thought I should get some thoughts/comments straight from the "experts."

I can do my own work on the car. Hopefully these would be a bit easier to work on than the 6G72TT in my 3000GT!

I'm selling a 95 Lexus SC300 Green exterior with beige interior. It has the 2jzge 6cly and automatic transmission. The engine needs some work and has been running hot and I'm not sure if it has a blown headgasket or what. It has 198k on it with leather, loaded with cold a/c. It has a few problems like a bad window regulator, a broken antenna and the boot that covers the emergency brake. Asking 1750 OBO.

I would go for it seeing as how you can do your own work. You can build a turbo monster.

id deffinately wait for something more reliable. That just sounds like it would be a pain in the *** later on. And you are gonna buy it for a DD. For DD you need reliability, and reliability is a stock factory car w/ low mileage. So most deffinately hold off and save some money for a decent one for 4-5g's

Its definitely a cheap rolling chassis. If you have a DD and have the expertise and money to build it... get it!
