Default paint question

i about to paint my car over but wald kit take up to 3 months to get here. Can i just paint the car now and paint the kit later when it come in or should i just wait and do it all at once to match. I was wondering if i paint it now and paint the kit later does it make any different

it might if the painters cant match the paint correctly later on. but i say just wait and get it all done at one time, itll be cheaper and a lot less work.

i've waited forever to get my car done.....now i gotta wait for my rims to come in from work so that i know how much i need to pull my fenders so i gotta wait 3 months but i guess it'll be worth the wait. I say just sweat it out.

What color are you planning to paint it? I'd say wait so they could just match it all in one shot... When the back piece to my kit finally came it they had to re-do it like 3 times to get it matched they way I wanted it. It took them forever to get everything matched up b/cuz some of my pieces were painted on separate days...

Do it all at once, the wald kit takes work to get it fitting right. If you paint it now, you'll regret it later.

Ask:
acleansc4
cleansc
reamemiya

Yeup, I'm with you on this one. Definately wait till the kit comes in. If you search cleansc there will be a thread about all the troubles he had with the wald kit. So, if you paint it first you run a big chance of scratching the fresh painted bumper fitting the kit.

Is blackcherry that dark pearly bronze color the sc430??? That color looks beautiful. Is this the color???
I think that color would look great on a SC, besides the 430.

I would wait to do it all at once. Its cheaper that way and there is no need to put the car out of commision twice. That color will look real nice on your car.
