We had a thread about that sucker a while back... but yeah, seal the bottom off, install a fan with a filter on it, and have yourself an updraft paint booth!

Driving the SC in the rain, with the open diff is sometimes quite exciting -- back a few years ago w/ my SC400, one time I was on snow tires in a rain storm, I tried to bust a u-turn and the rear end stepped out (wet leaves on the ground!)....

...no worries though, I turned off traction control and slid it around the corner

Fun, but not something I'd like to do with any regularity.

good lookin SC, I dont mind driving my gs in the rain, especially if it has been clean for a while. Dont get me wrong I am a clean freak when it comes to my car. but it gets old washing your car when it already is cleaner than 70% of the cars on the road. I also like to see my car dirty once in a while, and get 10 times more pleasure out of cleaning it and watching the dirt literally fall off of the car, and leaving the driveway all muddy.

Its like this you see a really nice car, say a new ls460 brand new very clean and shiny (chances are the next one you see is going to be in the same exact condition) Well it woruld be pretty sweet to see the ls460 all dirty with a some mud on it (i know i would be like DAM!), just shows you, that the guy that owns it isnt afraid to really use it, and while he probably isnt the only owner of a ls460, he probably owns the dirtiest in the state at that point and time.

I get just as much if not maybe a little more comments on my car when the chrome looks like aluminum and there is dirt all over the limo tinted windows, why would we buy wipers if we never drive in the rain????

my point is, nothing wrong with getting her dirty everyonce in a while.

My SC3 is also sitting in the garage for a month now....
I need to switch the rims from my GS or get a different tires.
I do miss hearing BOV going off.

You should try driving on rain soaked coral covered road. You want to talk about slippery! I've seen 4x4's spin out doing the speed limit around a turn. That stuff is FUN in the soarer.
