Default Keys locked in the trunk. Read other posts...

Okay so a lexus/toyota tech told me, that when you open the doors with out key or key fob, the "alarm" will disable the trunk switch.

So my friend has his keys in the trunk, managed to get the door open through the sunroof.

Now, the Lexus tech said that there’s a wire or computer or something, that if you apply, I think he said + or -, that the alarm will reset or something.

If this is true, anyone have a wiring diagram, or anyone knows about what he’s talking about.

Alright, first things first. What kind of car is it? i am assuming it is an SC. Now if it is, good, if it isn't this might not work. ok so the car is open, you need to remove the sub in the middle of the rear dash. it is super easy, there is like four screws you need to remove. now you need to lift the sub out, but be carful it si welded to the + - wires. so just lift and twist the sub away from the hole. Lets hope the trunk doesn't have anything in it because you need to push that plastic mold down and away. take a coat hanger fish around until you hear the keys pick them up and away you go. oh by the way, Lexus keys aren't magnetic so don't try magnets unless you have other keys on the ring. good luck and happy fishing.

not sure what year your car is but if you put a +12v to a big fat black wire in teh driver side running board harness it will open teh trunk. if that dont work remove your rear seats and your middoe speaker and start digging. here is a diagram look at teh trunk release

Can you have a locksmith to do this? It would be a lot easier; Good Luck!
