Default Start of project

This is more for my own purpose and easy to find again by looking for my own posts, but If interested i am starting to work on my car, a 92 SC 400 runs good, but needs a lot of work i feel for it to be ready to show.

Start of Project:

Front:

Side:

Inside:

Side notes, Inside has one destroyed driver side door panel, one damaged pass. side door panel, dirty, Stereo is not working atm. Blown speakers in both doors. Paint is original and needs to be redone, original stock chromed wheels, with chrome coming off.

Also anyone with any idea how to fix the part of the door, that is black but has been chipped and then attempted to be removed to look chromed on the door?

This is my start.

Getting new panels in, and starting to fix the stereo today, First get power back to unit, checking fuses ect. then going from there.

Still looking for info about the outside window trim, have seen a few that were blacked out using trimbrite blackout tape, but didn't see any info on the big gap in between the windows if it would work there too. mine is chipped, and someone pulled most of it off.

You need to repaint that B pillar, or you can also buy CF weave inserts or vinyl to cover it.

Planning on any engine mods?

been a wile, but got new door panels installed, fixed my radio, removed passenger seat so can start work soon on cleaning the carpets redoing seats.

Next side line project is to fix my parking brake, it says its on even when i don't have it pulled up, and am driving.

only pic i have is really crappy

but havnt read anything yet, also looking for a list of DIY for the sc400/300 so i can book mark them, have the headlights already but want more.

Anyone got any help on the brake?

Try adding some more brake fluid.

well looking over my documentation i have, could be the brake handle has come loose from its default position thinking that it is always on, simple fix, or somethings up in the brakes, and have to take them apart and check it. but will try that too, that being the real easy fix, just add fluids, but would have thought people i took the car to would have noticed that

wow almost a year to date from last post on this, some of a update.

Car has been to body and had all dents removed, de-badged, Re-Painted, Old chrome wheels removed to sit on stock anno wheels.

Unfortunately i couldn't get pics of wile it was in body because its not my shop, and it being a hour from my house couldn't just swing in when i wanted.

But its been back from body for about a month now, and in the bay of my shop, Electronics!

Inside the stock stuff is comming out, and going in

Alarm / Remote start:
Shelby cs-750

Back deck:
2x Focal 165C2
1x Boston G110 Sub

Trunk:
1x Audison SRX5

Front doors:
2x Focal 165 v2 (one in each)

Headunit:
Kenwood DDX7019

Custom work:
Cut rear deck to fit in speakers, cut stock sub to use in mounting new sub, cut stock speaker pods to remount larger fronts, Integration of a Zune Home AV kit, and dock to the center arm rest, feeding the headunit for video and music.

Also in the time its in the shop here at my place, I will be coloring the tails all red, blackout the chrome window trim (too cold for it to stick atm), and something with headlights, hope to clean them, but one looks damaged already, but we will see.

I left my camera at my shop, so will post pics tomorrow from work. Has been a busy year for me, but hope to have updates more often, now that its in my hands again, and all i have to do is walk 5 feet to see it.
