I have the darkest tint on the rear sides and rear window & legal tints for the fronts. I found that backing up at night from a dark driveway that you're not familiar with to be the biggest pain. I've run over flower beds & hopped down curbs a few times. The best thing you can do is to go to the tint shop and look through the samples that they have and choose the one you feel comfortable with.

I've used 15% on all my cars in the past. My SC however has remained tintless for 4 yrs now.

 

I'm not trying to point the dent out, but I couldn't resist but to LMAO at the dent right above the dent protection strip. Irony?

 

Ha, at least your paint did come off like mine , freakin fat people dont know how to get out of their cars without flinging the door wide enough to get a whole army out......Obesidy in California didnt get to me but it does now....

 

i have 15% on my car and sometimes iu wish i went to maybe a 10% but i think next time i will stick with 15% and just do my windsheild with a light tint like 35 or 40 %

 

Hahahaha that dent has been there for almost a year, and that protection strip has since been removed seeing as how I realized that it didn't do its job AT ALL.

My paint did come off along with the primer straight through to the sheet metal and had already began to rust by the time I saw it because of the snow and salts last winter. I touched it up with touch up paint for now and waxed over it, still holding lol.

 

I know what you mean. My first 240 I made that mistake. I use to find myself rolling down both front windows to see where I was going.
