hey guys. i had a question bout tint. what kinda tint do you think looks best on a SC? not depending on what color the car is, what shade looks the besT? add comments about your own SC's and how it looks like with which tint.

20% black tint FTW.

 

i think 20 % is the most practical. you can actually see out at night haha lol. i used to have 5% all the way around and couldnt see anything. besides apparently even though it is illegal here in hawaii the cops dont bother you unless your windows are like 5 % . learned the hard way lol.

Yeah I think 20% is ideal. If you have a black interior, 20% will look like 10% from outside the car, yet still give good visibility at night from inside it.

 

I have tan interior and chose 15%. From outside, it looks vary dark (not 5% dark, but dark nonetheless). During the day I can see out perfectly fine, but at night it's sometimes a pain.

 

Front two windows are 20%, rear three windows are 15%. You could find some pics in this thread

I like it a lot.. not too dark, not too light. I could see fine during day/night.

15% and under is where driving at night starts to become hazardous

20% is just about the cut off of praticality, my vote goes for it

and 35% is the legal limit, atleast it is in Georgia, and the others are right, cops usually wont bother you at 20%, so its the best choice to go with

 

I deeply regret going with 20%. The lack of vision makes spoting cops here in CA much harder when they are doing pace, even in daytime. At night time just forget about it. You have no freakin idea if its a cop unless it way to late.

It may look cool, but I prefer funtion over form. Go one choice lighter on tint than your first choice, it'll serve you better if any of the above is of importance.

I voted 20%, depending on your color of SC too, I have Jade green color, put 5% in the back and 35% in the front.

 

I have 20% my tan interior makes it look a little lighter so I sometimes wish I would have gone a little darker...

Ain't worth being bothered by the cops IMO.

 

i did 5% on my rears, and 20% on the front side windows... it's perfect for me... I don't really use my rear view mirror anyways, always the sides...

legal in texas (where I was when I had it done) was 35% on the sides, and I never got bothered about it...
