Just installed a Wheelskins steering wheel cover
Hey everyone, I just installed a black Wheelskins steering wheel cover on my 93 sc300 with grey interior. The process took about 1.5 hours. The steering wheel feels alot much better because of the softness and thickness it adds to the wheel. I think its a fairly cheap and good mod for about $35 instead of getting a whole new steering wheel.
Here is a pic of it installed (don't mind the pjs ):
Edit: Changed link for pic.

no pics right this second, but you are definitely right, great way to make a ****ty steering wheel feel new again, and look new too... I also colored the rest of my wheel black, so it looks like it came there stock...
you did it the hard way though, as I had to paint my wheel and airbag, I just took the whole thing off and did it on my couch... much easier than doing it in the car (and it's only like 5 bolts...)

stonewis - I got mine from ebay for around $35-40 shipped. You can get them off the wheelskins website as well for about $45 + shipping for a single tone one. The size for 92-00 SC's are AXX.
mitsuguy - Yea it was kinda tough to thread the needle through the holes with the steering wheel mounted, but wasn't too bad. Although with the steering wheel still mounted, it was easy to tighten the threading since its bolted down. What kind of paint did you use to paint the steering wheel? Can't wait for some pics.
