yea but thats before shipping and taxes. and before all the bodywork that is required to mold on the rear fenders and cut out the old ones. oh then comes paint. so at least 3800~4000 $ for everything

i spent 2400 on my rims w/no tires.

you will have to buy rims twice then. The Ridge requires very wide and low offset wheels or it will look like crap.

Vertex quality is awesome. I have the wide front fenders. You get what you pay for in this case!

u think say 20-25 offset will look okay with and without the kit...

i kno it will look agressive without it, but will it look sunken like stock with the wide fenders on the kit...

it will be very sunken in with +20 to 25 offset. because those are flush or slightly sticking out on stock or pulled fenders. the vertex ridge rear and the fronts are 30mm and 50mm wider than stock. so youd need like -15 to -20 offset in the back and it would have to be pretty wide too for it to be proportioned to the wider body. and like -1 for the fronts.

Be prepared to have deep pockets going widebody.

I was looking at the Vertex Ridge before i got the BN Sport widebody and both were around the $3k mark.

Add in paint, fitting and mounting and i was another $2k in the hole.

Had to get some custom deep offset J-Line rims to get it to sit flush that ran me $3200.

And now after fitting them on there, i realized i can get an even bigger lip on the front two rims, so i'm sending my 2 pc ers back to J-Line to get them re-hooped with a bigger lip and more aggressive offsets. Another $600.

Big money....but no other way to go if you want to stand out from the crowd.

it's not just the offset, it's the overall fitment. like they said above, you can't have a fitment to do both and look good. a good fitment for the widebody won't even fit on the car until you have the widebody on there...

you don't think about these things until you get all angles, thanks for the advice guys

question though: is the vertex and the vertex ridge both the same kit apart fromt the fenders

i.e. do they have the same front and rear bumper, and side skirts?

if so i might just get that kit and order the fenders later, bc after getting that kit by no means will i have the money to get those wheels

save all of your money and gathering your parts, execute all in one fell swoop.

That's my personal way to do it right the FIRST time.

and yea, you can get 20 offset rims, if you want to stack spacers...

do it once and you'll need custom rims... but itll be worth it...

DPE, HRE, Iforge... or any wheel company that does made to fit orders...

though remember that if you ever do try to sell your wheels it will make it difficult as there are very few cars which will fit your wheels...

I dont think it's the same thing as vertex ridge and the regular vertex. Front fenders on Ridge is 50mm as well as rear, Unlike the other front fenders (25mm) but not sure of the design on how it goes on with the bumper. Either way, if you get one now, I think you are #3 in the U.S.

Different everything.

The ridge is a completely seperate kit all together, although they look similar.

The rear bumper is widen to match up with the rear overfenders, the front fenders are 25 or 30mm i beleive, where the D1 style fenders are only a 15mm. I just sold my D1 style fenders and they're definetly not considered widebody. They're just a tad wider than stock.

The front bumper also mates up to the new widebody fenders, so the Vertex front bumper is narrower.

Best to get all the similar stuff taken care of at once. Get all the body done in 1 shot. best way to keep you lines and theme of your project together.
