So the woman went to work and took our AWD Acura...I had to run an errand, so took the SC out of the garage. Thought I'd take pics...So all you Southern US and Cali people don't take your weather for granted.

BTW the Yokohama Avid's V4s All Season's...Ahhhh SUCK in the snow. I was "all over the place" in any little amount of slush...4 foot patch of wet snow, and I look like "Takahiro Ueno"

This is when my car said "WTF!!!" to me!!







I'm going today to look at winter beaters...with my buddy...he's driving

Uhhhh i we got 8 inches of snow yesterday morning.

 

It was in the -40 degrees celsius range all last week up here. You have to make sure you blink lots so your contacts don't freeze to your eyes.

 

dude, Im in chicago... you all know how bad it was here the last few days. I just went on a 3 hour each way trip and just got back. These cars are awesome in the snow with the TC on. TC is also fun when its off to go sideways here and there but the car was plowing snow with the under part of the front bumper (coilovers) and the car was still fighting through the deep snow and I was passing 4x4's. Its not that big of deal. If you think it is, come over here and take my cobra out in the snow then tell me what you think, lol

Thank you...NO!!! I've read about that car...I wouldn't take that out in the rain.

I had a Z28 back in the day, sucks worse than anything.

I think I would've been o.k. if I didn't sell my Blizzaks to Dimitry (97-SC300).
I'm sure he's loving them about now!!!

The SC is staying in the warmth of the garage, and I'm buying a beater.

I think the Turbo van would be a great beater...stick a loud BOV on it...Pull up next to some Honda kid with that thing firing off!!! Funny

 

I went up to Wisconsin today to pick up my SC and they got it pretty bad. It was a fun test drive on the side roads. It seemed to do pretty well with new tires and TCS on.
