Also, the site says '92-'94 sc300's
this wouldn't fit for the '97 right? especially since the front grill area was redesigned.

You can buy a lexus original car bra from http://www.lexussc400.com
for $115 and they do have the original car covers for less than the dealer.

The dealer bra and cover fit like a glove, I don't know anything about the other ones.

how long is the installation? and how hard is it?
is it practical enough to use ONLY for highway driving trip and then remove when the trip is over ?

finally, can LEATHER nose bra's stand the weather? thru sun and snow and RAIN? wouldn't the leather get damaged?

Yeah the bra is practical for trips. I wish I had it on a few trips, now I have some chips on the front from rocks.
It isn't any harder to put on than other bras. About 5 min. when you are used to it.
