Shipping cost for me is confirmed at $997.00, so thats no problem. And it will get shipped to Port of New Westminster, and I live in New West! I can just walk down the hill and pick it up. I'm more concerned about the legitimacy of the Company and what they send me. Also I really dont want a RHD, does ANYONE know if they made LHD SC's there that they can send me!?

Just get an SC and swap if you don't want to deal with RHD
Importers are popping up on the west coast like crazy so plenty to choose from. Buy my SC400 and then drop a 1JZ in. http://www.wheelconnection.ca/projectsc400.html

2JZ SC, You are correct. Every JZZ30 is RHD.
scENFORCER: It depends on exactly what you want and what your budget is.
You have to consider everything. A SC300 with a 1JZ swap would probably be a little more expensive at the end of the day, but its possible to get a newer model, with LHD. Also, even if the swap is done well, there still may be issues (fuel, electrical etc...).
A Soarer already has the motor, so no hassles, no issues. Its a lot more unique (over here at least). In addition, many have very low mileage. The downside is importing a car you have not seen or driven. The purchase you make relies on an auction sheet report, pictures, and basic information on the car. There is also the option of buying a Soarer already landed in Canada (Nice ones go for less than $10000 CAD, Not bad considering a 92 SC400 with around 150000km goes for about the same in Canada), which involves no more risk than buying any used car.
Its up to you. If you import, use container shipping. I have heard horror stories about RORO shipping from Japan. Any way you get your 1JZ, make sure to replace the PCV valve, as there was a recall on earlier ones on the 1JZ's (Theres a thread on Supraforums regarding this). There are a few Canadian Soarer owners on soarercentral.com forums who I have asked about their importing expericence and I have heard nothing but good things. Good luck on finding the right SC/Soarer for you.
