Which work of art, JC or the SC?

Anyway, congrats, and well done that car is the ****e!
Thanks man, I kind of lucked out and the photographer would love to reshoot the car for hopefully other publications. Im really gonna not do much exterior except for a fat sheetmetal flare out back. But, I think people are attracted to a clean style, the right wheels and paint make a car.

Nice, definitely come by and introuduce yourself! We are going to be competiting in the Dyno challenge, Drag, and the show and shine! I dont expect to break any records(except for the stock block NA one), I mainly just wnat the car to make 700+, get into the 10's, and look/sound good doing it!

Hah, no doubt, we are bringing two cameras and will may be doing a little documentary for our enjoyment. Our trip out there is 1500 miles, so the journey is gonna be the adventure here!

Thanks,
Josh

Are you open to posting your current parts/mods List thats on your car?

I too am working on 700hp. I'm rebuilding the motor and putting turbo on over this next month or 2.

Of course...If you buy the may issued of Modified, you can read the article on it and it lists the mods more in detail.

But the key points of my car are:

Precision 72mm Turbo
Full-Race Exhaust Mani
FSM Custom Intake Manifold
HeadGames Ported NA head
Full valvetrain, Stock Cams for now
JE 9.2.1 Pistons
Stock Rods
4in Downpipe and Exhaust
6spd and GS400 rear w/LSD
AEM EMS
880cc injectors, 2 Walbros

Do you have any parts already for your build?

Thanks,
Josh

Yeah I've got what I need to get the car running. No sponsor money.

I was building the block last night putting in 8.5:1 Used OEM Pistons. Low budget right now. My next block will have JE in them.

Your using the 9.2:1 how does that differ you set up versus the 8.5:1 setup?

How much more bottom end you see? Whats the max boost you'll be running with out meth on that setup? Reason I ask is because depending on the tradeoffs I might do that on my next motor?

Also I just learned that the gs400 is a good fit for our cars. Question can you use your stock sc300 axles with out modifications? or do they require extra parts? I know one side is different for the 6spd diff. Any other changes required for the GS400 rear end? What brand LSD are you using?

Looks like the result when you take your time to do things right (and have the $$$ to spend). Very Nice!

Dont think cause I have "sponsors" that my stuff was free. I had to pay like the next guy, although after years of selling those companies products, they gave me some killer deals on some of the big ticket items I used

The 9.2 pistons just leave a little more compression to it and spool the turbo considerably faster than the low 8 motors. As of now, the car makes 560/490 on pump, and who knows on c16, im hoping for 750+. I havent played with the meth yet, but I may in the future.

The stock axles bolt right upn to the Gs pumpkin, and the TRD or Stock Auto LSD fits right in. I am using a TRD, but wouldnt hesitiate to use a stock LSD, they work just fine!

If you ever need any parts or advice, feel free to give me a holler!
