Default Whats up guys, 2nd post!! Climate Control screen problem!

My climate control screen seems to be damaged due to the sun.
when i first turn on my lex it has like a black liquid inside the screen.
it slowly goes away as my car heats up but not fully.

what can i do to fix this? how much does it cost?
also like the first 10 mins i have my car running, my music stations are all static until the car heats up. i dont get it!

Also im about to order the full vertex kit (knock off version). do i need the 1997 fog lights for this kit??
i also heard the front bumper is hard to fit and needs some shaving..
is this true? also someone told me that my 18 inch rims wont be good enough with this kit. he said it wont clear because the body kit goes so low. he said i need atleast 18's. is this true?

One more question...My sc400 is hugger orange so what color rims do you think i should go with? silver chrome or black?

If you have the soldering skills yuo can purchase the lcd itself, take apart the limate conrol unit and solder on a new screen. I dont remember off the top of my head where exactly you can get ti but its not cheap, but also not that expensive either.(~$100?)

Not sure about your radio.

Any knockoff kit will have fitment issues. 18" rims will be fine. I prefer chrome on bright ocolored cars.

Default Hey

All the soldering is really hard to do. I had the same problem. You can just buy a whole new climate control for not too much. Its really easy to install too. Just search for it or talk to aliga.
