New guy on the block with a '98 SC400
I picked this one up in VA, which was a Nice 700 mile drive from MA. I found it at this HUGE dealership in the middle of the mountains and nowhere. 1998 Lexus SC400 with 67,000 miles, all stock, Rally Red (bleh). Wished the car was black. But it was 2 months of searching. I traded in my 2001 Celica GT-S for this car and have zero regrets.
I swapped out the oil with Sythetics.
New Plugs Bosch fusion (what a difference)
Fram AirHog drop in Filter (amazingly easy to change)
Bought (not installed yet) Magnaflow cats, P/n's: 91004 and the 2 in 1 94007.
Nakamichi Premium Audio with a blown out speaker in the back.
Wing light needs replacement.
Other than the trivial and expected used car maintenance, i love it and it's in fantastic shape. The engine is sparkling clean.

I bought one too..picked mine up yesterday in NJ. Mine was owned by a doctor who leased it for 4 years then he bought it after the lease was up. I got extremely lucky b/c the blk int is in near mint condition as well as the exterior. I have been looking for a blk/blk or plat/blk 98+ SC 400 for a couple of years, found this one with all options including trac so I jumped on it with cash in hand.
I don't know what u guys think but this is a ***** fast stock car for being a gen 1 SC, 0-60m in 6.3 is awesome for smoking many rides off the line at stoplights.
