Default My 1st Lexus too, questions.

I just purchased my lexus sc 300 today happy to have received a manual, with a pretty paintjob and perfect body...so im going to start saving, but i want to know what to save for...i come from owning 3 honda civic hatch backs so i know the bolt on phase a is lil different and ultimately i want to boost...but would the veterans suggest suspension? rim and tires, engine bolt ons'? im excited and nervous, i havent driven anythign else but honda and i've always have had reliable cars...i dont doubt toyota but are there arent common things i should keep a watch for?

Also things you should watch out for are on other threads in this forum.

Good luck

I have driven Hondas and Toyotas both. Reliability is equally good. Top of the world either way.

I am new to my SC as well. Thus, I have not the slightest clue about boosting other than that I have seen 1jz's and 2jz's with some ridiculous dyno sheets over 500 hp. In a boosted SC, you can ride in comfort and style while taking some turbo Civics to school on performance.

By the way, the ride looks nice and clean. Good find.

www.clubna-t.com has lots of great NA-T and swap information.
www.intellexual.net is a good overall SC primer, check out the SC FAQ
