Ive had it for about 3 weeks, but I just got a digicam for christmas so I was waiting til I had pics to post her up here. Its a 95, I picked it up for $5K with 156K miles on it, it is in great condition, only about 2 little dings on the outside and no rips in any of the leather. Just about everything works too. The only bad part is that its an automatic, but Im taking care of that soon... I still havent decided if Im gonna paint it, I thought about black or pearl white, but theres already too many in those colors???

I dont have any money now cause Im in college, but Im at school to be a nissan tech so I have access to any tools I need at my school so Ill be doing a lot myself... I changed the plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor, and valve cover gaskets and painted the valve covers too. Just tonight I had to drive 3.5hrs and I stopped to eat about 3hrs into the trip and when I left it started making a really loud whining noise through the rpm range, I dont think its the tranny either its weird. Ill check it out tomorrow and post what I find out...

Well here it is, I welded on some new exhaust tips and took off the resonators and Ill post pics of them later.

One quick question- Whats the "Lexus" name fop the interior color? I need to order floormats and I found a site that sells them but they dont have pics of the colors just names: http://www.lexus-parts.com/partlist....D=8&ModelID=70

is it Spruce or Taupe???

BTW for that whining noise, did you have the tape deck on when that happened?

I've noticed one of the little things (irritations) with my car is that the speakers? emit a kinda whinning noise that increases in pich with my RPM.

Anyone have an idea to what is causing that? I havent bothered searching for a solution yet since its not a high priority on my list, I usually just rock the base really loud

Definately noticable tho.

The whining noise is gone, I just drove it a few minutes ago and it was completely gone. It wasnt the radio either, I know what youre talking about... I dont know what the hell it was it was random as hell??? Oh well its gone now

 

good luckwith mods, and you say you hate having a slow car....how fast was that civic...also, boost your sc, then youll look down on your civic
