Do they eliminate/lower wind noise?

i notice that the windows up the car is whisper quiet but with it barely cracked I cant hear anything.

Lets see, if you DEFLECT the wind around the portion of the window that is opened (which coencides with the maximum area over the window that is covered by the deflector unit) you will hear LESS wind noise in the cabin of the vehicle in question.

It doesn't eliminate it completely, but it makes it noticeably less noisy in the car...

I originally got it for the cool look factor, all of these other little things were bonuses for me

You can see them clearly here in my picture and also on Chanh55's car right next to mine...

I used to get a whistle noise before I installed the deflectors. After the install the noise was gone and driving with the windows open at 80 mph is a lot less harsh.

I dont think they look very good though coz they dont flow all the way to the rear window but thats just me.........its useful though
