Question on odometer swap
If I swap out my odometer I was told the mileage on my car will still be the same without reprogramming, etc. They only way to change my mileage is to get an ecu with lower mileage, is this true?

The odometer stores the mileage so if you get a guage with 60k it will dispaly 60k .

Yeah, and the original poster never came back and updated the original thread with what he was really looking to learn (and not just hack the ODO).
