Black/Red Rota's on Red SC400?

I saw those exact style wheels in a car magazine on a black BMW M6. They looked amazing. I think those wheels would look best on a black car.
With the red, you may not exactly color match...which could look terrible. I would have to see the wheel right next to my ride to be certain the color was matched properly before I spent a grand or more on some wheels that may or may not look good.
I would look elsewhere unless you have seen these on a red car and like the look. If so, go nuts man. Ultimately, it matters if you like the car....since it is yours.

I voted to rock the Rota’s. My reasoning is that if I'm going to run a flat black painted wheel (race style) wheel I'm going for Light and cheap so it serves its purpose. I'm sorry to say the Rota's (king knockoff wheels) are lighter then forged Rays, period. Yes, there cheap and cast but if your looking for a race wheel there great. But on the other hand the Time Attack Volk's give you bragging rights.

Cast wheels lighter than forged? How does THAT work? Forged wheels are generally lighter than cast, because the forging process makes them much stronger, because it aligns the internal structure of the metal. When something is stronger, you can use less of it, and it ends up being lighter if they are of the same strength. The only way I could see a cast wheel weighing less, is if it was much weaker than the forged wheel (or not of the same width&diameter, but we're assuming same sized wheels here), in which case you should be atleast a little bit worried about running that wheel on the street and especially the track.
Rays Engineering happens to make what are probably the best quality wheels period, and even have a contract with certain Forumula 1 teams to make their wheels. I wouldn't really compare Rota to them.

i actually have those rota's on my 240..havent put them on the lex to see what they look like though cause its still stock height. I say get them in the lowest offset ya can for all 4 and make them fit by rolling the fenders...wish i had got the lower offset for the front of my car..maybe in the future though.

i started the volk thing, but i never said those rotas were the te37 knockoff, i've always liked volks and figured i should recommend a good quality product
