**pics** Yellow fogs
its been awhile since i got my 97kit uprgrade done but i never got around to having the fogs wired up. well its finally been done except i couldnt afford to get a 3000k HID kit like i wanted along with my 6000k low beams. instead i put in some yellow bulbs and yellow film, and it does the job as of now, here are some pics:
these were taken in my garage in the evening on a foggy day, not yet night
just the fogs:
with the city lights:
finally with the HIDs (note: beam is not as blue in real life, and it was not warmed up)
sorry bout the fuzzy pics and the spray in the beam pattern

btw, i went the route of 3000k HID's and they are awesome!
actually what i did was since i have 2 pairs of HID's (lows and fogs) i hooked everything up and i hooked the low beam balasts into the 3000k HID fogs and the 6000k low beam bulbs into the fog light balasts so that when i turn on my low beams my fogs come on and when i turn on my fogs, my low beams come on. this lets me just drive with my fogs on during the day - kinda like my day time running lights
IMO tho ide take out ur parking lights cuz nothing goes with ur 6000k HID's unless ur lucky and find some nice LED's

there are actually other methods to getting that yellow fog effect without using the film, so as to keep it clear. One is as stated, using a H3 philips 3000k hid kit, which is what i did. the other way is to change out the bonnet within the fog housing to a yellow version which is produced by a company i can't recall at the moment.
that is basically what covers the bulbs inside the fog housing. Changing that to the transparent yellow cover would yield a result similiar to the GS/IS fogs. However, if you're going to try and use the philips 3000k hid kit, you will have to either modify this bonnet or take it out completely as the return wire on the bulb will not clear it. I opted to just make a hole large enough for the return wire as I dont want to produce unnecessary glare. If funds ever come available after my recaros, i aim to retrofit the foglights too with some projectors.
nice job on the yellow fogs but imo, i'm not the type that likes the color when the lights aren't on.
*edit- if you opt to change the bonnet, you'll want to use these
