Something a bit different...my buddy's SC
I decided to share my friend's SC with the rest of you guys/gals here on CL.
He's not a member here but he's been consulting with me for the last 2 years in regards to his build up. It's kinda funny because he's never heard of Clublexus before. He's been a Suburu guy for years. He decided to crossover. I guess the rest is history. I wanted you guys to see what the project looks like now.
It's a bit different mainly because of his wheel color choice. Everything else is pretty much top notch.
Specs:
1992 SC300 5-Speed(original color Royal Jade)
- repainted same color with more black and green pearl(resembles the Midnight Pine color of the SC430's)
- Smoked and Cleared 97 Tails
-Spoilerless, filled , and badgeless trunk lid
- Full Authentic JIC Magic kit
- JIC Bullet Exhaust System with the tips cut/shortened to fit flush with the kit
- Xerd Header
- C's Short Shifter
- Coilovers( I forgot which ones already
)
- Staggered Stern Wheels(Don't know which model), painted bright flourescent yellow(I think he's trying to emulate the jdm soarers running bright orange or yellow wheels....)
He will be changing to Enkei RP-01's soon....This guy is one of the very few(and I mean VERY few) SC guys around my area. Enjoy guys...
And bonus shots....seeing his car makes me sad because this is what mine currently looks like....

It's been like forever....the windows are coming out tomorrow and will be in the paint booth on Wednesday...
Yeah,
Them wheels are super bright....I think gold/bronze would look super sexy...but he told me himself he likes the look. It's cool overall though.... And It looks better in person....
I will buying these wheels as a beater set....I will change the color though
