Thumbs up SimplyZBes aka Master Hater

196K is a lot of mileage my friend. But then again, if the car is mint without a ding or scratch in sight then spend the $7,000. With that kind of mileage that car should be like $5500-$6,500 if it is in average condition.

"Only my two cents."

Not bad looking car in pic. Blk/Blk 5 speed is real nice if that is important to you. IMO 192K is alot of miles. Might as well call it a 200K miles car. I would not give $ 7000 for it.
I think you can find one with less miles and/or newer year for that money or less. I would be patience and wait unless he came down to around $ 6200 or less. Good luck !

Well I forgot to mention he just put new head lights in and had the tranny rebuilt and put a new clutch in 6 months ago with all records to prove it. He had the tranny rebuilt at a reputable shop fo 3k.

Car rides & drives very smooth. No enigne or wind noise, it has a very good feel to it.

$7k gets my vote, only because of blk/blk. Do it up only if you have some cash left over for repairs later on.

Its a 5 speed which is rare, also black interior which is rare (a lot of people would be willing to pay a premium, over blue book for these options)
If you are one of these people then get it. If interior color and 5 speed doesnt mean much to you then let it go. 200k doesnt mean much to these cars if it is well maintained

I SAY GET IT... or just wait for a tan-grey interior 5 speed for the 5k range

I don't know 5 speed maybe rare but I don't think it's enough reason why I have to pay premium for the SC.

even though it's black/black. 200k is a pretty high number my friend. I'd try and find something else. went through a bad deal with my SC, still have regrets about it.

if it is a 97, it could had been a lot better, but with the new tranny and clutch etc... I think it is worth it.

ScTT, Wait him out (Don't Look Desperate) leave him your number. He probably won't get any buyer's in the coming weeks. He may call you and drop his price.
