Hi guys i was woundering if i could setup the stock unit with a amp to feed a new replacement Sub.The stock system has a stock Sub but i found it cheap and would like to power my sub with something better.Thanx alot guys..

Its fairly simple to do.....if you know what you are doing. Basically you have to tap off the factory wire harness to the OEM sub amp. It will involve using a tester (ohm meter) to chase down the turn on lead and the low level input signal. If you don't know how to do this, then don't try. Bring it to a shop and have them convert the factory plug to an RCA type plug. Then you can install the new amp yourself.
