Your the one that called Deruvian's car "RICE" because he had an exhaust and lowered.
Like what IronCobra said, you have absolutely no understanding of what a ricer is. You just think that since you have a 1j in your car that anyone running exhaust on a NA 2jz is a ricer. That my friend is the mustang/ricer mentality.

OK so this thread I would say has taken a turn for the worse. However, why the hell not - I'll throw in my opinion. I'm pretty much with IronCobra. I think a ricer is basically someone who's car sucks and they think it's badass. I think a Prelude's a decent car. (My complements Shern - tasteful and nice!) I know that with a ridiculous amount of money, it could be really fast. I think (a lot of other people do too) that my car's nice... but it's NOT fast. AT ALL. Hopefully one day it will be. I know that this'll take most of my reputation away for most of you, but... I used to drive a V6 Mustang. I modded it when I got the chance, and it ended up looking decent imho. I would straight up tell people, "Yeah it looks OK, but it's slow as hell." I don't think that's ricer... But yeah, mods absolutely must be tasteful too (IE no vinyl siding used as a spoiler...) I understand that this was started as a rant, but I just wanted to comment on the ensuing conversations. Anyway, that's my two cents. Do with it what you will.

First of all, I think you "sc250tt" have a really poor understanding of what most consider rice.
A completely Stock SC is anything BUT Rice. A semi-stock SC with Factory rims, springs, and a clean aftermarket exhaust is a CLEAN looking ride.
Some people actually like the look of their factory rims though they think the car sits too high in OEM condition.
A riced out car is taking a perfectly modable or clean ride and adding taisteless additions that do nothing to help the cars performance and are made to simply turn heads. Notice how I said "taistless". This doesn't include a nice set of wheels.
Someone who says "I'm going to add a HUGE spoiler just to make my car LOOK fast" is a ricer
Someone who says "I'm going to put a big sticker of a finger pointing in the forward direction with flames out the back because it makes my car look fast is a ricer"
SOmeone who says "I'm going to put a HUGE muffler on my car only because it LOOKS fast and is LOUD is a ricer"
Someone who goes overboard on looks even if their car is fast and nice is a ricer.
The key here is Taisteless nonfunctional mods = rice.

Hey i'm part of that crowd, well no burnouts but still. We are not ricers at all. I mean unless you call Cobra TTs, S/C vettes, RX7s, Supras, STis, EVO rice, then yeah, I guess so. I'm not coming after you at all but just saying that chilling in a parking lot or Boat luanch in my case at night doesn't mean anything. These are grown men chillin with the younger people, teaching us the ropes I guess you can say,lol. Where else we supposed to chill?
BTW anyone can come to New Orleans and see any one of the above mention cars on any sunday night.

You didn't over do it and it still looks clean.
Not my taste really but still clean.
I just know when a car is good and bad. I don't judge by rice.
Seems like every car forum thinks their car is the BEST and everyone else is rice. Come on guys... threads like this promote hate. Who cares what they do to THEIR cars.

why put a exhaust on a slow A$$ sc ?dosent make sense to me if u want it for looks thats why they invented exhaust tips and its not because i have a 1j buddy .i have 2 sc's and my sc300 dont have a 1j so i will not go ahead and put an exhaust jus because its a sports coupe lol .yup we definately have ricers on this forum . oh your that guy who does drifitng in the desert right .lmao .
