Hey all-

My left headlight has a broken "leveler" and Lexus wants to replace the whole left headlight assembly for $200. I can not adjust the headlight to aim properly.

Would a true HID setup be using that leveler? If not I'll just go with HID instead of wasting $200. Any thoughts?

An after market HID sysyem ony will efect the stock unit by using a different bulb. The balast and all are remotely located, so its just like a bulb swap. You would still need to fix the leveler w/ a HID system.

Maybe a factory HID setup would allevialte the problem, but that woud be considerably more expensive.

You could try just finding someone who would sell you the whole headlight encasement? That might help, cuz from there all you'd have to do is swap the headlight covers and it shoudl work fine. I'm thinking...
