Default Dumb question but I still need help. Muffler Tips

I want to remove my stock muffler tips and polish them up REAL nice but I dont see any screws or anything to remove the stock tips. I dont believe that they are welded on and I dont just want to give them a good yank. So how do I take these things off? And on a side note my passenger window squeals when it goes up. Anyone else with this problem? Thanks all, and CL is the best place for support!

Their welded on the inside. Just have a shop cut them off and weld some you like on.

Mine definatley werent welded on either. Just wiggle it off, its got that small fixutre to hold it to the muffler, it takes some wiggling to get it off.
