Default VIS V-Speed Kit

Just called the guys at VIS today (February 2, 2007) they told me that the V-Speed Body kit was on sale unitl today for $360. (complete kit) they quoted me shipping to atlanta ga to be $160. So for the entire kit shipped it would only be $520. Thought it was a good deal, if anyone was interested.

Wow! The real vertex kit is like $2500 shipped... I can get a knockoff version of the kit for like a fraction of the price. Who cares about extreme fitment problems and low quality manufacturing.

Good find!

I have an authentic JIC magic kit, but I heard VIS isn't too bad. $520 shipped is pretty good IMO.

It's not just about price and quality...VIS stole that design and is making money off of it. How many of you have mp3's movies etc. that are pirated? Probably most....but do you burn them onto CDs/DVDs and sell them? It's a violation of intellectual property rights....trade dress in particular. It's just a matter of time before companies like VIS get sued and go under...

Not all high school kids mess things up. Maybe the ones in your area. When I was in high school I was already gathering up my parts for an auto to 5speed swap. I had a friend who had slammed his SC with a full Supra suspension upgrade. By Senior year he had gotten an SC400 to run high 13s on race tires, nitrous, and a couple other motor upgrades. My little brother is 16 and has a rare 5speed SC300 sitting on chrome TTs with an HKS Hi Power exhaust and a couple other motor upgrades. So not all high schoolers mess the SC up.

PS - Dont get the VIS kit. It wont last long and it wont fit well.
