hey I've got a wierd ??? but here goes I backed into some chicks Ford Explorer ,"very slowly" but I didn't see any damage...it was dark .... any way next day she says there is damage to the lower area portion of her runnig lights housing and she think that the tail pipe from my sc pertruded out from under the my car when my bumper contacted her bumper!! if you can picture that??? but i need to know how far the rear bumper travels if it makes contact with anything solid!!!!!

unless your car is on 24's thats the only way i can see my exhaust damaging an explorer .any pics?

man hell no...not possible, your car should be MUCH lower than her Explorer, even at stock height. Watch out for trouble from this chick.

found a lexus tec that would give me an answer and he figures about 2inchs is about all the styrafoam will compress but figures there would be damage to the bumper at that point!
