Default Backseat Leak

Hey guys...I need some ideas. A few weeks ago we had some serious rain and ice here in TX. I saw several owners were having problems with their stereo systems..as did I. They posted about a leak that would allow water to gather around the stock amp. I checked there and no water. I then started the process of changing out the stock system. The other day I took apart the back seat and found that the driver side of my rear seat would completely water logged. The seat has been out for several days and now is completely dry. I would hate to put it back in without finding out why it was wet. Any ideas how I might be able locate my leak???

same answers as everyone else that has posted this thread. Clean your sunroof drain tubes, THEN if that does not work have the rear window seal checked.

I've had my back seat out more than once and remember a hole in the chassis where I could see the garage floor through it. There were actually two holes, one in the center of each seat, but one hole was covered with tape or something. I wonder if somehow the ice and snow made its way through one of those holes?

I was typing my answer while OLT posted his. Based on his 18k plus posts vs my 134, I would go with what he said...

Yea I see the same holes, but I thought it was strange that the water had gathered under the driver side. I am not familiar with the sunroof drains...where are they located? What would I be looking for? Water usually leaves a trail if it drains in over a period of time...I didnt see anything to indicate the rear glass. Any chance it was a freak of nature just like the weather?
