Default Big chunk of ice

Well the temptation was to strong today and i desided to take the sc out since it was 23 degrees today- warm for this time of year - Took it for a cruse on the interstate- Going about 70 when a chunk of ice fell off a semi and skidded down the road- couldnt avoid it - it was the ditch- hit another car- or take my chances with the massive boulder tumbling down the road- long story short i hit the som***** and pulled over on the next offramp- ripped the lip off and tore the undercarrige - at least it really didnt hit the bumper- some scratches but not to bad- lucky I didnt hit the bastard straight on- so I guess I have to count my blessings- so heres some pics

Hey, you should have bought my beater, then you'd have never even noticed that ding...LOL.

It could have been worse..I had one go right thru the grille of my suburban a few years ago..came off the TOP of the trailer..a four inch thick slab of ice that was around 3 feet long. I took one to the a/c condenser, another one to the hood, and one thru the windshield.. They flew off while I was passing the guy..after I saw some smaller chunks blow off towards me, I decided to get past him so I wouldn't get any bigger ones dropping in on me..
damage was over 2800 bucks. So just be glad that wasn't it. Oh, and the truck driver was WATCHING it happen in his side mirrors..I saw his eyes get REAL wide as I took the ditch to avoid the rest..but he never even slowed down.

Yea it could of been alot worse- I am very fortunate thats all it hit- I did have to swerve to avoid a dead-on front impact though- but yea everythings gonna get fixed- sucks though- just puts a damper on some things I had planned for this spring -

Man that sucks... It sucks to see another 5 speed silver spruce SC get damaged. I wanted a lip for mine too.

Off topic a little, what % are the tints they look really good.

Tint is 20% all around- with strip on the window- its perfect on a sunny day and allows just enough light at night- Ive had many different levels of tint on my vehicles and 20% all around is by far my favorite choice

In my opinion the lip makes it look alot better- If i were you i would get one
