Looks awesome

I owned my SC300 for about 2 days before I took off all the emblems and painted them gloss black- I couldn't stand the gold crap all over the car.. just wasn't my style.

I've been wanting to paint the interior wood pieces (i can't stand these), but wasn't sure whether to keep them in the car, mask it up and spray, OR remove the pieces and do it outside of the car. Which would you reccomend?

Either way, the end result is beautiful- nice work! Any other pics of the interior?

I will snap some pics when I get home. Since my first pics, I went ahead and painted the plastic around the actually door handle which makes the trim on the door look more like one piece.

Since I have never removed the center piece, it will be hard for me to comment. With that said, everything I read makes it sound like a b*tch and I could not justify all that time and effort for one piece. The door trim is easy and can be painted outside the car. Only thing you have to mask off is the center trim and I covered my whole enterior to prevent spray dust. I will post close up pics tonight.

Got home after dark and took the pics in my garage so they did not come out the best, but here are some close-ups.

Quick VR4 inspired me to paint my ugly wood trim. Thanx for the help

The painted wood trim looks blotchy, but thats due to lighting. Otherwise, it turned out great

Great Job. Especially with your enterior already trimmed in black, I think that looks 100% better than the wood. Glad I could help!!!!

A shot of high gloss clear coat should make that thing look even better.

Looks good! I just got done taking the Gold off mine by polishing them to chrome. See my write up in the SC forums if you want to know how it is done.
