Rayn,

Thank you so much for the info! Did you also change the dome lights (the one in the middle that stays on when the doors are open)?

I am kind of ****, and would prefer that all be same color.

Thanks!

One more question, since you know your lights well. I know the fogs use H3 12 v 55w

But the site you gave, for yellow lights is seling
Output 12V70W

Will these damage the OEM fog wires or anything? They are higher watt.

ah lookin for yellow fogs huh. i tried and was happy.......... for a month or so and it burnt out. maybe its just me and maybe the lights will be fine with another pair but i decided against it. no damage to the wires/harness just the bulb shat itself.

id just either get those yellow caps for h3 bulbs (cant remember where to buy) or your gonna have to use film or spray on your lense.

RaynArt, I'll try and get some pictures up of my license/park 6LED lights tonight. On the topic of type LED or Normal M4 bulb, if you plan on going with the LED lighting setup go with http://www.superbrightleds.com at this moment.

On the topic of distribution of light you're correct, LED are fluorescent and glow giving the impression that they are brighter.

The 9 LED bulb for the dome light that is on a blue square housing SUCKS, don't ever buy it, it has a horrible light output and the "white" LEDS are actually purple colored.

Hi all, I am new here and came to this thread first cause I want to get the look of the mini HID found on the IS250/350 on my car.

Great info but I was wondering if you can buy a bulb that goes on the IS and retrofit it to other cars. If it runs on 12 volts and Toyota sells the bulb and socket you should be able to do it.

I do not have access to an electronic parts catalogue. If you or someone you know works at a Lexus dealer can you please post part numbers for the IS blub and socket?

The real IS bulbs can not be that expensive; ditto on the sockets.

Because with a Toyota part you fix it once and it stays working for a very long time; probably for the life of the car in the case of the plate bulbs. Made in China and Taiwan stuff is best kept off.
